Our Korean teachers are native Korean speakers who come from many different areas of Korea. They have a strong passion for teaching the language and offer experience, solid pronunciation and a good understanding of teaching both adults and children. The Korean department is divided into three levels: Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Since our campus has a lot of Korean students, teachers and workers, we not only offer solid language study but also a good understanding of the Korean culture. Our classes are set up to allow the student to get a well balanced education with emphasis on speaking, listening and reading. Since our teachers are native speakers they are able to give additional instruction that may not be found in the book. Therefore students can improve their understanding and increase the speed of memorization. The classes are teacher centered so the teacher has the opportunity to use not only the traditional teaching techniques but also can incorporate new and different teaching methods to aid in the classroom environment.

China and Korea have a long history that is filled with mutual influences and as the two countries continue to grow that influence will also grow. There is an additional factor here in the Shandong peninsula because of the nearness of Korea. Because of that opportunity our school is poised to help Weihai and the surrounding area to grow in its understanding of the two cultures.
